Tides & Sea Surface Currents Follow
Tidal and ocean current data are available for many coastal locations. Ocean current data is only available on the websites.

Tidal & Current Information using the Mobile App
From the Wind Map, search for your location of interest. Tap on a nearby weather station to load the preview panel, then tap Current Conditions & Forecast.
Select Tides to view the nearest Tide Spot, or open the drop-down menu for a list of tides in the area. Current Spots will also be listed in the menu.
Tidal Information using the Website
Navigate to a location you are interested in and select a nearby weather station from the Wind Map.
Open the spot's larger panel by clicking on the preview window. Then, select the Tide tab. The nearest tide spot will be selected by default. You may choose other tidal or current spots using the drop-down menu. View past and future current and tidal data by going backward or forwards in time.
Sea Surface Current Forecasts
Our Sea Surface Currents Forecasts are derived from the Operational Nowcast and Forecast Hydrodynamic Model Systems (OFS) from the National Ocean Service. These datasets have a resolution as fine as 30 meters in some areas.
Sea surface current forecasts are available to Plus, Pro, and Gold members.
