Tempest Quick Start Guide Follow
Let’s get your Tempest system up and running!
- Find a spot that’s in range of your WiFi to unbox the hardware.
- Download the Tempest Weather app, available on iOS and Android.
- Enable Bluetooth and launch the app, it will walk you through the short setup process.
- Your Tempest Weather System is live! Weather data will now appear in the app.

Additional Tips: Do not manually pair to the Hub device over Bluetooth. The WiFi Hub connects to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If you don't see your WiFi Network, try refreshing the page, enable 2.4GHz in your router settings, or see our Troubleshooting Guide. Your Tempest hardware is configured to one user account - the app may be installed on multiple phones and tablets for simultaneous use and you can share data with others in multiple ways. There is no rush to install your Tempest sensor device at a more permanent site. As a first step we recommend you place it outside in a convenient location to start measuring the weather right away. The included flat base & wood screw with keyhole slot, or any standard camera mount (not included), allows you to quickly secure your Tempest to any flat surface.
