Site Statistics
You can also view a general climatology of wind statistics for any site. The data shown includes the frequencies of winds at various thresholds broken down by month and showed in the form of a shaded wind rose plot, as well as with bar graphs. You can choose whether to view this information either for the entire history of the sensor or by individual year, average wind speed or top wind gust, and daylight hours only, or for all hours by clicking on the pulldown menus at the top of the tab.
Site Info (Metadata)
You can even see station metadata where we have it, including its latitude and longitude, its elevation, the height of the anemometer above the ground, the data provider, its install date, and city/state/zip code. A full listing of all available photographs of the equipment is also provided where we have images.
